Identifying Features A marlin has an elongated body, a spear-like snout, and a long rigid dorsal fin, which extends forwards to form a crest.


Fillets The flesh of which is a pale pink in colour.


Habitat Marine; pelagic in the open ocean. Fished in Sri Lanka.
